After the Netflix smash hit regency romance series graced our screens, Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear set out to answer the simple question: What if Bridgerton was a musical? They answered by composing and recording 15 songs in 6 weeks, live on social media in real-time, with lead vocals by Barlow and orchestration, production and additional vocals by Bear.
Now, with #BridgertonMusical reaching more than 260 million views and with 48 million likes between them, Barlow and Bear have released The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical, a concept album based on Bridgerton’s first season. The response has been spectacular, with the album hitting #1 on iTunes U.S. Pop Albums within two hours of its release, and Top 10 worldwide.
